The holographic silver finish is TamperMax's most widely applicable metallic format — the bright silver-chrome holographic base produces vivid full-spectrum color-shifting under all lighting conditions, from office fluorescents to natural sunlight. Silver TamperMax® labels match the visual register of metallic product surfaces while delivering unmistakable holographic authentication that is immediately distinguishable from standard silver labels. The 1.75" x 0.375" (44mm x 9mm) dogbone profile bridges raised edges, device joints, and multi-plane surfaces — widened anchor ends grip both sides of a seam while the narrow waist spans the interface, enabling the holographic tamper seal to cover seams that flat rectangular labels cannot reliably adhere to.

TamperMax®'s holographic film base produces a bright, dynamic color-shift pattern visible from multiple angles — this iridescent authentication effect is inherent to the holographic film structure and cannot be replicated by inkjet, laser, or offset printing. When the label is removed or tampered with, the holographic film irreversibly fractures and the tamper-evident void pattern activates, making tampering unmistakably obvious while simultaneously destroying the holographic authentication signature. A removed TamperMax® label can never be successfully reapplied — the holographic layer delamination is permanent and visually conclusive.

Laser demetalization creates authentication features — geometric patterns, text, or logos — by permanently removing portions of the holographic metallic layer. These optically variable device (OVD) features change appearance with viewing angle, making them among the most sophisticated anti-counterfeiting mechanisms available on any pressure-sensitive label format.
