TamperMax® Holographic Security Labels — Custom Printed & Laser-Demetalized
Holographic security labels combine tamper evidence with visual authentication in a single seal. The iridescent holographic finish is virtually impossible to replicate with standard printing equipment, making these labels effective for both detecting tampering and deterring counterfeiting simultaneously. When removed, the label leaves permanent evidence on the surface beneath — proving the seal has been broken regardless of any attempt to replace it.
Intertronix TamperMax® holographic labels are available in multiple hologram colors and patterns, blank for immediate shipment, or custom printed with company logos, sequential serial numbers, 1D and 2D barcodes, and custom warning text. Laser-demetalized customization creates permanent, tamper-evident designs directly within the holographic layer — adding a level of security that cannot be photocopied, scanned, or reprinted by counterfeiters. All production is handled at our Chula Vista, California facility with consistent quality and direct ship worldwide.
Holographic labels are the right choice when standard metallic void labels are not enough — when your application requires both proof of tampering and proof of authenticity in the same seal. TAMPERMAX® Holographic Security Labels
TamperMax® holographic tamper-evident labels feature a genuine security hologram finish that creates a distinctive, color-shifting iridescent appearance at every viewing angle. The holographic layer is produced using a laser interference process that generates microscopic patterns impossible to reproduce with inkjet, laser, or offset printing — making each label a visual authentication tool as well as a tamper evident seal.
Key Features
TamperMax® holographic labels are available in silver, gold, red, blue, and green hologram finishes, giving you flexibility to match brand colors or create a distinctive seal that stands out at point of inspection. The genuine security hologram finish shifts color and pattern as the viewing angle changes, a visual property that standard metallic or printed labels cannot replicate and that trained inspectors can verify instantly without equipment. Laser-demetalized customization removes areas of the holographic metallic layer in precise patterns to create permanent logos, serial numbers, barcodes, or custom designs embedded directly within the hologram — these marks cannot be altered or removed without destroying the label entirely. Custom printing options include company name, warning text, sequential serial numbers, and 1D and 2D barcodes for integration with asset tracking, warranty management, and compliance systems. When peeled, the adhesive layer leaves a permanent VOID pattern on the surface beneath, providing tamper evidence alongside the visual authentication of the hologram itself.
Common Applications
Holographic security labels are widely used for brand protection and anti-counterfeiting on consumer goods, luxury products, electronics, pharmaceuticals, and regulated items where counterfeit risk is high and visual authentication must be immediate. Certificate and document authentication applications include placement on diplomas, licenses, warranties, and official documents where the hologram acts as a visual verification seal. Premium product packaging applications use holographic labels on wine, spirits, cosmetics, and high-value retail items where the iridescent finish also contributes to shelf appeal. Electronics warranty sealing applications place holographic labels over access panels, screws, and battery compartments where the combination of tamper evidence and difficult-to-replicate appearance deters unauthorized disassembly more effectively than standard metallic labels. Asset identification applications in government, defense, and high-security environments use laser-demetalized holographic asset tags where permanent serialization within the holographic layer provides the highest available level of label security.
