The holographic bright red surface on this label catches and refracts light differently depending on the angle, which is what makes it resistant to duplication.

The polyester construction is flexible enough to bend around a 90-degree edge without cracking, which matters on enclosures and panel seams where the label has to wrap a corner rather than lie flat.
