What is a tamper evident label?

A tamper evident label is an adhesive seal engineered to leave a permanent, visible mark when removed, proving a product or package has been opened. Used for authentication, warranty enforcement, packaging security, and retail loss prevention.

How does a void sticker work?

A void sticker uses a multi-layer adhesive that leaves a permanent VOID message on both the surface and the removed label when peeled, making tampering immediately visible and preventing reapplication to a different product.

What is the difference between destructible and non-residue tamper evident labels?

Destructible labels break into fragments when removed, preventing transfer or reuse. Non-residue labels show tamper evidence on the label itself but lift cleanly from the surface without adhesive residue. Choose destructible for asset protection and non-residue when surface cleanliness matters after removal.

Can tamper evident labels be used outdoors?

Yes. Industrial-grade tamper evident labels from Intertronix are rated for UV exposure, moisture, and temperature extremes. Standard indoor labels are not designed for prolonged outdoor use. Request samples to match the right label to your environment.

Can I print custom serial numbers, barcodes, or logos on tamper evident labels?

Yes. Intertronix prints sequential serial numbers, barcodes (Code 128, QR, Data Matrix), company logos, and custom text on metallic, holographic, destructible, and non-residue label materials.

What is the minimum order quantity for custom tamper evident labels?

Minimum order quantities vary by label type and customization. Many stock and custom-print options start between 250 and 1,000 labels. Contact Intertronix for exact minimums based on material, size, and print specifications.

Does Intertronix ship tamper evident labels internationally?

Yes. Intertronix ships tamper evident labels and security seals worldwide from its facility in Chula Vista, California, USA, Monday through Friday 9am-5pm PST.

Description

This silver matte option skips the sticky residue problem common with tamper labels, while still triggering a visible tamper pattern on improper removal.

It's built to perform reliably both indoors and outdoors, holding adhesion and tamper function across a wide temperature range without becoming brittle in the cold or losing tack in the heat.

This rectangular format is a practical fit for carton seals, panel edges, and equipment housings where a longer strip provides better coverage. This size and format shows up often in warranty enforcement, service department sealing, and general product security programs.

This pack contains 10,000 labels. This label ships pre-printed with a warranty void message and sequential serial number already applied — ready to use with no setup required.
